Intro to Stand-up Paddleboarding
Get a taste in this experiential intro program sure to whet your paddling appetite. Try out board management and learn some basic strokes to get started on calm water - perfect for first-time paddlers.
Beginner Stand-up Paddleboarding
Take this introductory course to develop fundamental stand-up paddleboarding skills including proper form, paddling techniques, and balance tips. Learn about the basic equipment, paddling safety, and great locations for flatwater paddling. This beginner course provides a foundation for future SUP progress.
Intermediate Stand-up Paddleboarding
Take your SUP skills onto the river in this intermediate course. You'll learn new strokes and control techniques in the calm waters of the Bowness Eddies, then develop your eddy turns and ferries by moving in and out of the river flow. This half-day course will teach you the skills to prepare for river paddling.
Advanced Stand-up Paddleboarding
Enjoy a river tour by SUP in this advanced course. Review eddy turns and forward ferries, and learn how to read the water ahead of you and navigate in a current. Then set off down the river to practice and develop your paddling and board-management skills along the way in a variety of conditions.
