The ACMG is the professional association of trained and certified Mountain Guides, Hiking Guides and Climbing Instructors dedicated to protecting public safety and enjoyment in climbing, skiing and hiking adventures.

The Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the provision of high quality instruction and certification in cross country and telemark skiing.

Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada

The HPAC/ACVL is a Canadian non-profit corporation created to represent and support the sports of hang gliding and paragliding in Canada. It is a member of the Aero Club of Canada and affiliated to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) and the Commission Internationale de Vol Libre(CIVL).

International Federation of Mountain Guides

The IFMGA is the international umbrella for mountain guide associations from more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. Each national association represents all of that country’s mountain guides who are qualified according to IFMGA guidelines.

The Interpretive Guides Association (formally Mountain Parks Heritage Interpretation Association) is a professional body representing interpretive guides who connect people to Canada’s mountain parks.
