The City of Calgary provides more than 8,000 hectares of parkland and natural areas, as well as 905 km of pathways for you to enjoy. Bowness Park boat rentals, mini-train rides and skate rentals are managed by the University of Calgary Outdoor Centre.
Muller Windsports
Kites, hang gliding paragliding products and instructional programs for a variety of levels of expertise. Novice programs are coordinated through the University of Calgary Outdoor Centre.
Outdoor Council of Canada
Founded to encourage, promote, and facilitate safety-oriented outdoor education and recreation programs, along with leadership opportunities, which are accessible to every Canadian. Leadership and Navigation programs through the University of Calgary Outdoor Centre.
Rocky Mountain Adventure Medicine
Medical training services and programs for those who work and play in remote environments. RMAM programs are coordinated through the University of Calgary Outdoor Centre.

Association of Canadian Mountain Guides
The ACMG is the professional association of trained and certified Mountain Guides, Hiking Guides and Climbing Instructors dedicated to protecting public safety and enjoyment in climbing, skiing and hiking adventures.
The Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors
The Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the provision of high quality instruction and certification in cross country and telemark skiing.
Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada
The HPAC/ACVL is a Canadian non-profit corporation created to represent and support the sports of hang gliding and paragliding in Canada. It is a member of the Aero Club of Canada and affiliated to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) and the Commission Internationale de Vol Libre(CIVL).
International Federation of Mountain Guides
The IFMGA is the international umbrella for mountain guide associations from more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. Each national association represents all of that country’s mountain guides who are qualified according to IFMGA guidelines.
Interpretive Guides Association
The Interpretive Guides Association (formally Mountain Parks Heritage Interpretation Association) is a professional body representing interpretive guides who connect people to Canada’s mountain parks.

Paddle Canada
Paddle Canada sets national standards for instruction and certification for recreational paddling: canoe, kayak and stand up paddleboard. Paddle Canada certifications are nationally accredited and internationally recognized.

Medical training services and programs for those who work and play in remote environments. RMAM programs ensure that risks are mitigated, that participants are prepared for emergencies and that there is a plan in place to manage any incidents that arise.
