Accessing UCalgary campus by bike, transit, or vehicle
The University of Calgary has an LRT station, two major bus loops, bike racks outside each building, and both hourly and day-rate parking lots.
The Kinesiology complex is located near the west end of campus, between the Olympic Oval to the west and MacEwan Student Centre to the east.
If driving to pick up or drop off people/things, follow directions and signage from 24th Street NW via University Gate and University Court to the 15-minute loading zone outside Outdoor Centre main entrance.
If you are staying for a longer period, you will need to use one of the public parking lots or an alternate form of transportation.
Day-lot parking for Outdoor Centre programs
The cheapest day-parking available is in Lots 10 or 11 on the north side of campus.
From 32nd Ave NW, go south on Collegiate Blvd.
Turn left into Lot 11, or turn right onto University Avenue and immediately right again into Lot 10.
From either parking lot, walk south to the Olympic Oval entrance.
From the Oval block, turn left to go east into the Kinesiology complex.

Transit access for Outdoor Centre programs
The LRT station is located at the east end of UCalgary campus.
Travel southwest past the science complex and MacEwan Hall and Student Centre to reach the Kinesiology Complex's east entrance.
If travelling by bus, the likely dropoff point is the main north bus or south bus loops.
From the north off 32nd Ave, go southwest past the Engineering Complex and enter doors between Kinesiology and MacEwan Student Centre.
From the south off 24th Ave, go northwest between Craigie Hall and the Rozsa Centre to reach the main east Kinesiology entrance.
Outdoor Centre within the Kinesiology Complex
The Outdoor Centre is located in Kinesiology Block B (KNB 180), and outlined in red on this map.
The main entrance to the Outdoor Centre is located on the west side of the building. Follow signs from the 15-minute loading zone parking spots.
To reach the Outdoor Centre from Lot 10/11 parking, enter the Olympic Oval foyer and walk east into Kinesiology.
The Outdoor Centre is on your right, a short distance into the hallway (before the racquet courts).
To reach the Outdoor Centre from the east entrance to Kinesiology, walk north past the Good Earth and pass the first hallway.
Continue northbound up the hall until you reach the atrium with the red stairs. Turn left.
Proceed down the hall past the Fitness Centre, racquet courts, and Gymnasium.
The Outdoor Centre is on your left.
If entering from MacEwan Student Centre to the east, or the external doors between the two buildings, head west past the atrium.
Proceed down the hall past the Fitness Centre, racquet courts, and Gymnasium.
The Outdoor Centre is on your left.
If you find yourself in the Kinesiology A hallway with dance studios and aquatic centre, you can exit the building at the main west entrance and re-enter at the Outdoor Centre main doors directly.
Kinesiology Classrooms
All classrooms are found in the Kinesiology Building - A block (KNA) to the south or B block (KNB) to the north.
Rooms beginning with a 1 are found on the first floor. Rooms beginning with a 2 are found on the second floor.

From the Outdoor Centre, go east to the atrium with the red stairs.
Turn right to go south and watch for the entrance to the dinos hallway on your left before the next hallway junction.
Turn left and go in the dinos hallway door.
Room KNA 131 is just ahead on your left.
Room KNB 150
From the Outdoor Centre, go east down the hall.
KNB 150 is on your right, across from the Fitness Centre (before the atrium).
Room KNA 160
From the Outdoor Centre, go east to the atrium with the red stairs.
Turn right to go south and continue to the next hallway junction.
Room KNA 160 is right on this corner with entrances from both east and south hallways.
Room KNB 236
From the Outdoor Centre, to east to the atrium.
Go up the red stairs and enter the door at the top.
Turn right and proceed down the hall a short way.
KNB 236 is just ahead on the left.
Other Campus Locations
Outdoor Centre Bike Shop
From the parking lots to the north, walk through the Olympic Oval atrium and out the south side to the Kinesiology west entrance.
From the Outdoor Centre, exit the main doors and walk along the outside of building to the Kinesiology west entrance.
Enter the west doors and walk past the small study area. The Outdoor Centre bike shop is the first door on the left, which will be open when a class is expected.
